Our History

Initially detached from ODS GmbH Group, Optical Disc Services is a company founded in 2006, as the Romanian subsidiary of parent company.

In 2007, after ODS GmbH has stopped it’s activity, Optical Disc Services has become an independent self-reliant business and established itself as a market leader in Romania in the field of industrial replication of CDs and DVDs

Since 2008, the company has 100% Romanian ownership and changes it’s name to Optical Disc Solutions. It was not just a name change, but also a repositioning, in relation to what the company has to offer and also towards customers.

From an optical disc replicator, ODS has the ambition of transforming itself into a integrated services supplier centered around the media industry. This change is required by the constant development of the market and by the desire of developing and consolidating solid partnerships with the customers that our company collaborates.

From 2013 Optical Disc Solutions diversified their services offer by adding a custom designed storage for optical media and publishing products outside Bucharest, in a new logistics system and last generation equipment for printing, business cards and other publishing products.

In 2014, the company went through a re-branding process, in accordance with all the dynamics and developments of it's services, and to the needs of the national and international markets.
